Gylon Technician - calendar Operator (2015383)

Checks blend paperwork for completeness.
Insures a clean area before start up and shifts end.
Cleans the cell prior to running, and during operation as necessary.
Selects correct product style to be run on the HMI
Zeros out the feed scale prior to beginning run.
Visually confirms the correct robot paddle has been installed onto the machine.
Positions tubs of blended material onto adjustable lift table for best accessibility.
Adjusts fiberglass hopper dam to proper height for optimum material flow in feed tray.
Scoops material into feed hopper as needed
Adjusts robot leveling program as needed so robot blade is not pushing material on the last one or two revolutions.
Removes pressed cake from operator station each cycle.
Loads fresh filter paper into every fixture.
Feed cakes into first pass calendar
Checks specifications for L x W x Thickness for first pass.
Feed material into calender.
Calenders per specifications.
Checks thickness every sheet
Checks length and adjusts calender per output of material.
Patches voids.
Takes material to next calender for processing per specifications.
Responsible for calender setup, length, width and thickness.
Final passes material for proper length, width and thickness.
Documents all passes.
Selects oven profile and adjusts belt speed
Responsible for sheets passing through the continuous oven
Trims sintered sheets to size per order.
Performs branding procedure by inputting sheet data into the system. System will automatically brand sheet, when branding procedure is finished, sheet is removed from table and placed neatly on appropriate skid and labeled.
Checks thickness of all four sides before tagging.
Responsible for sending sample to Quality Control w/proper batch #.
Loading sheets to curing rack.
Loading material to curing and sintering ovens and unloading material after removal from oven.
Loads and unloads salt tank.
Identify, prepare, document and submit test samples.
Performs testing of Gylon Sheets
Sees that workers maintain adequate time for setting up tables.
Responsible for Quality.
Knows Calender Mill Rescue.
Keeps work area clean.
Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
