A WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES! Welcome to The Arc Wayne! We support people with and without intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families. We assist individuals in taking their full, independent, productive place in society.
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) have the privilege of supporting adult individuals with developmental disabilities in obtaining their life goals! The role of a DSP is to teach, encourage, inspire, mentor, influence, instruct, nurture, and praise the individuals that you support.
DSPs support individuals with activities of daily living skills, housekeeping, self-administration of medications, and they plan and participate in recreation activities. The Arc Wayne trains DSPs in the principles and processes for providing quality direct support services in both the home and community settings.
