Product Information Analyst (2015400)

GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:
The Product Information Analyst will be responsible for Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) which includes product data and related content (images, videos, documents, etc.) for the purpose of supporting internal customers, business systems, and ecommerce channels. In addition, this role will lead efforts to migrate product information for Garlock product lines into the PIM software. This is an individual-contributor role with a high level of influence and responsibility. This role will be the primary system administrator for the PIM and DAM software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform system administration of PIM and DAM software which may include enabling/disabling users, assigning/creating/maintaining security roles, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting business users with resolving issues, training new business users, reporting technical issues with software to Riversand, working with Riversand to resolve technical issues, monitoring system performance, etc.
Lead and support on-going initiatives to on-board new products into the PIM software. Be instrumental in this initiative by being the subject matter expert (SME) of PIM and DAM software. As the SME, work with stakeholders to develop data model for new products, setup data model in software, create new business rules, and create new workflows.
Perform and/or support data modeling, data standardization, data cleanup, data migration/conversion, software setup/configurations, user-acceptance testing, deployments from development, test, to production environments, and training.
Work with data stewards to monitor data integrity, maintain data, linking digital assets to appropriate products on an on-going basis.
Create and maintain new business rules, validation rules and workflows within the PIM software.
Create and maintain export data feeds to meet business system integration requirements, or distributor product information requirements.
Create and maintain import data feeds for data being automatically imported from other business systems.
Create and lead or co-lead data governance committee/team that as a team defines data standards, monitors data conformance, communicates health of data, provides training and/or support in the efforts to create and/or cleanup data.
Lead, co-lead, and/or perform future on-boarding of data into the software applications to support ERP's, ecatalog ecommerce, website, business intelligence, other business systems and external customer/distributor needs. This may require defining requirements, modification to data models, defining new data standards, performing and/or leading data migration efforts, and performing and/or leading user acceptance testing (UAT).
Maintain subscription and technical support contracts with Riversand.
Identify and secure external technical resources from software provider or implementation partner needed to provide support during implementation/on-boarding and/or for enhancements to the software to meet new requirements. This may include, but not limited to, defining scope of work, obtaining estimates for support, entering purchase requisitions, reviewing invoices, etc..
Provide global communication/updates on key performance metrics of the information within the software applications.
Creates system roadmap, best practices and communicates the potential impact of emerging technologies.
Develop relationships with the divisional and business unit subject matter experts.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency with the software applications.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with engineering, business, or technical focus preferred.
3+ years of experience with MDM, PIM, DAM or relevant software like Riversand, Informatica, Stibo, Oracle Product Hub, etc..
Experience with data architecture, data modeling, system configuration, system administration, or software implementations preferred.
Experience with manufacturing B2B environment required.
Experience with ERP and eCommerce platforms preferred.
Basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, and/or computer programming.
Basic understanding of project management.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Office/Manufacturing, some travel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
