Planning Specialist (2015159)

Actively participates in a team environment to maintain world class supply chain practices, harmonizing best practices in the field of Materials Management across the Klozure operation.
Performs a broad range of duties related to Production & Inventory Control Planning functions, Manage materials and production at optimum cost and performance in accordance with established company and divisional objectives.
Responsible for creating, managing and maintaining production schedule, jobs, and load levels.
Responsible for managing the material requirements plan through the proper use of planned orders, firm planned orders and released work orders.
Follows up on the progress of orders and expedites as necessary to ensure orders will be shipped on time.
Maintains close communication with Purchasing, Suppliers, Manufacturing, Shipping and Customer Service.
Works with Accounting and Manufacturing on matters relating to material requisitions, production reporting, and inventory accuracy.
Responsible for analyzing all assigned inventories and establishing inventory planning factors as appropriate.
Works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve and avoid problems in connection with schedules, production, material deliveries and the like.
Assists with planning and scheduling personnel assignments; coordinates flow of work between work centers and shifts; follows-up to ensure assignment and schedules are carried out.
Able to assist with planning for efficient use of labor hours, material, and machines.
Assists in the proper care of all equipment, facilities, and machines in unit.
Responsible for communicating information on problems, projects, schedules, etc. to other team members as needed.
Support colleagues in self-direction and development initiatives
Leads and manages cycle count initiatives and initiating corrective action to help prevent future discrepancies.
Responsible for leading & managing physical inventory in assigned area.
Effectively interacts with all levels of personnel, including operators, engineers, managers, suppliers, customers, etc.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrate servant leadership practices to help transition our culture.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
Knowledge of Garlock products, materials and production processes beneficial.
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Google, MSOffice Suite. Oracle familiarity a plus.
Strong analytical skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
